Air travel
Flights to Auckland are available from most major cities worldwide with just one stop. January is a peak period for travel to New Zealand so competitors need to book early to get cheap tickets. Major airlines are currently offering return tickets to New Zealand from European cities for less than EUR1500.

Subsidized shipping will be available for the shipping of boats to the Junior World Championship in Auckland in January 2012.

Oceanbridge have offered heavily discounted shipping rates as follows:

These prices are all inclusive. European land transport, customs clearance, terminal and port charges are included. All New Zealand side costs including on site container storage are included in the above prices.

Prices are based on 6 boats per 40ft container. Beach trolleys can be shipped. 
No road trailers.
